Former police officer sentenced, who became an 'investigator' during the occupation of Izium.

A former police officer, who became an 'investigator' during the occupation of Izium, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The court found the woman guilty of treason and collaborative activities during martial law under Articles 111 and 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment and deprived of the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies for 15 years. Property was also confiscated.
The court proved that the woman voluntarily sided with the enemy and collaborated with representatives of Russian armed groups. She held a pseudoposition of 'investigator' in the occupying 'people's militia'.
It was established that she carried out investigative actions according to Russian legislation and patrolled the city together with the occupiers. She also provided Russian servicemen with information about the location of the prosecutor's office and other buildings.
The woman is awaiting sentencing in custody, but she was discharged from the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine. The appeal process is ongoing.
It is worth mentioning that MP Vadim Kolesnichenko is suspected of treason for supporting the Russian Federation. In another case, the mother of an ex-MP has also been convicted of treason.
