Russia spends less money on the war against Ukraine than it earns.
Serhiy Hrabskyi, a military expert and participant in peacekeeping missions, stated this on the FREEДОМ channel.
According to him, the restrictions on the sale of energy resources may complicate the Russian aggressor's continuation of the war with Ukraine.
'As doctors say, we need to fight the cause of the disease, not the consequences. Therefore, trying to block companies with sanctions is pointless. We understand that the Russian economy depends on the sale of resources and materials. Thus, strict restrictions on the sale of these resources could stop Russian aggression or make it impossible,' Hrabskyi said.
He is confident that as long as Russia earns large amounts of money from the sale of energy resources, it can continue military actions.
'In the war in Ukraine, Russia has spent 170 billion dollars while earning 470 billion dollars. Therefore, it can afford such a war, and no sale restrictions will bring the rapid effect needed by the civilized world,' believes the military expert.
