Russia strikes Kharkiv region — among the injured are children.


Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and seven other settlements in the region over the past day. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and 40 were injured, including children.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, on July 8.
Synegubov reported that a 35-year-old woman died in Kharkiv and 39 people were injured, including three children — an 8-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and a 10-year-old girl. At the same Time, a 73-year-old woman was injured in the village of Buzove of the Vovchan community.
Shelling in Kharkiv region over the past day
The occupiers attacked the Kholodnohirskiy district of Kharkiv with six drones, and used various types of weapons throughout the region, including:
- 13 unguided aerial missiles;
- one Iskander M/KN-23 missile;
- eight KAB;
- 23 drones of the 'Geran-2' type;
- two fpv-drones.
As a result of enemy attacks, there are destructions in the city and region. In Kharkiv, 24 houses, 19 cars, and four shops were damaged. In the Kupiansk district, a house was damaged, and in the Chuhuyiv district, a private house was damaged.
It is noted that on the night of July 8, Russia struck the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the enemy attack, a man was injured.
In addition, over the past day, the occupiers carried out more than 500 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. 64 reports were received about damage to residential houses, vehicles, garages, and administrative buildings.
Russian forces continue to attack Ukrainian cities and settlements, causing destruction and creating a threat to the life and safety of the civilian population.
