Ukraine Recovery Program: Four Projects Implemented in Bukovina.


As part of the Ukraine Recovery Program, four projects with a total budget of over 161 million hryvnias are being implemented in Bukovina. This was reported by the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Administration Ruslan Zaparanuk. It was noted that the program is being financed by the European Investment Bank.
'From Chernivtsi region, 27 project applications have been submitted for consideration by the Expert Working Group, four of which have already been approved. Among them is the implementation of maneuverable cogeneration with a capacity of 1000 kW at the boiler houses of Chernivtsi city and the new construction of a solid fuel modular boiler house at the Vanchikivtsi Lyceum,' Zaparanuk reported.
Also, among the selected projects for oil and gas transportation, the new construction of a water supply input and sewerage networks in Chernivtsi and the creation of new local wastewater treatment facilities in the town of Hlyboka are highlighted.
The approved initiatives are planned to be implemented within the next 18 months. The third stage of the Ukraine Recovery Program is financed through a tranche of 100 million euros from the European Investment Bank, as well as an additional 100 million euros that the Cabinet of Ministers has approved for expanding the initiative. A new project selection is expected later this year, Zaparanuk noted.
