Polish communities are expressing interest in cooperating with Ukrainian communities on the development of infrastructure along the border between the countries. This was reported by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland, Jan Shyszko. He noted that this movement concerns the interaction between Polish and Ukrainian communities, as well as facilitating the return of Ukrainian citizens to Ukraine. Negotiations are currently underway regarding financial support for the development of dual-use infrastructure on the border, which can be used in both wartime and peacetime.

'Polish communities are interested in developing such connections. This movement concerns interaction in the sense of engaging Polish communities in activities in Ukraine, as well as involving Ukrainian citizens in activities in Poland, and also facilitating the return of Ukrainian citizens to Ukraine. At this moment, negotiations and processing of financial support options for the development of infrastructure on the border between Ukraine and Poland are ongoing. It concerns dual-use infrastructure that can be used both in wartime and in peacetime,' he said.

In particular, Poland is interested in developing roadways between the countries. Such a movement would benefit both Ukraine and Poland, as it would contribute to the development of trade and tourism between the two countries. Cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in the field of infrastructure development along the border has great potential to improve the conditions of border crossing and strengthen economic ties and partnerships between the communities of both countries. It will also help strengthen friendly relations between Polish and Ukrainian communities.
