Ministry of Justice restored the operation of state registers after a large-scale cyberattack.

Today, January 20, the Ministry of Justice announced that the operation of the Unified and State Registers has been restored after a cyberattack organized by the Russian Federation.
Which registers are currently operational:
- State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate;
- State Register of Encumbrances of Movable Property;
- Automated System of Enforcement Proceedings;
- Electronic Register of Apostilles;
- Unified Register of Convicts and Persons Taken into Custody;
- Automated System 'Bankruptcy and Insolvency';
- Unified State Register of Persons to whom the provisions of the Law of Ukraine on 'Lustration' have been applied.
Currently, access to the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate is limited for notaries and state registrars while updating data on encumbrances by executors.
Electronic interactions with other state bodies that use the register data in their work, including the State Tax Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service, the Pension Fund, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State GeoCadastre, the State Border Guard Service, and others, will also be restored.
In addition, access to online services related to these registers will be restored soon on the portal and in the 'Diia' app.
As previously reported, on December 19, 2024, a large-scale external cyberattack was carried out on Ukraine's state registers. According to expert Danila Globa, this situation negatively affects the operation of many systems that use the register data.
The Ministry of Justice continues to restore the operation of all affected registers, and it is planned that they will fully operate by the end of January.
