Ukrainian sea ports continue their digital renewal, using modern technologies to improve port infrastructure. One of the new directions is the use of underwater drones for inspecting hydraulic structures, as reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

In the atmosphere of one of the Ukrainian ports, tests were conducted with two underwater drones of Norwegian manufacture. Specialists from the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration expressed positive feedback regarding the operation of these devices, which have proven effective for inspecting hydraulic structures and technical assessments of facilities at significant depths.

The results showed that underwater drones have great potential as a reliable tool for monitoring and reducing risks for divers, especially in the context of military conflict, when access to facilities may be restricted.
'The use of such technologies allows for optimizing the use of human resources, ensuring greater efficiency and safety of work. This is a strategic step in the digitization of the port industry. Underwater drones have long been used in the world for inspecting infrastructure, and we are keeping pace with these trends,' emphasized the head of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration, Oleksandr Semyrha.

Ukrainian sea ports are actively implementing digital technologies, which allows for improved monitoring and safety of hydraulic structures. The use of underwater drones is becoming an integral part of the industry's digitization strategy.

Experienced specialists in the field of Ukrainian sea ports are using underwater drones to inspect hydraulic structures, which improves monitoring efficiency and ensures work safety. New technologies are aimed at optimizing the use of human resources and bringing Ukraine's port industry to a new level of digital transformation.
