Ukraine received $1 billion from Japan and the United Kingdom
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Ukraine received $1 billion from Japan and the United Kingdom. According to the Prime Minister, this tranche was issued under the guarantees of the governments of these countries as part of the World Bank's DPL program.
“We will use the funds received to support our economy and finance priority expenditures in the social and humanitarian spheres,” emphasized Shmyhal.
The head of government expressed gratitude to the World Bank, the governments of Japan and the United Kingdom for their significant support and contribution to strengthening our resilience.
