Zelensky: Ukraine will help Moldova overcome the energy crisis.

Ukraine is ready to help Moldova overcome the energy crisis artificially created by Russia to influence the parliamentary elections in the country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this at a joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
According to the Ukrainian head of state, Russia uses energy resources as a tool of pressure on the politics of other countries through price crises. In particular, Russia keeps the Transnistrian region of Moldova dependent and has provoked a significant increase in electricity prices across most of the country.
“This is a classic scheme of Moscow. They create problems for the normal, democratic government in the country to bring to power, of course, their people, their agents,” Zelensky emphasized.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two countries signed a joint statement on deepening bilateral cooperation and countering Russian aggression. The parties also agreed to intensify efforts to develop relations between the countries and confirmed support for the territorial integrity of both states.
Ukraine and Moldova plan to open all negotiation clusters for EU accession by the end of 2025.
