Zelensky Informed US Senate Members About the Victory Plan.


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with a US Senate delegation in Washington, where he presented the main aspects of the Victory Plan.
The meeting was attended by Senate leaders of both the Democrats and Republicans, Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell.
Here, in the capital of the USA, we have many friends who have stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainians from the very first days of the full-scale invasion in the fight for freedom and independence. Thank you to each Senate member for such support
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to both Senate parties, the US President’s administration, and the American people for their comprehensive support of Ukraine in military, economic, energy, and humanitarian spheres.
The President emphasized the importance of such meetings, especially in connection with the increased attacks by Russia on Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
The meeting discussed the situation on the front lines, the needs of Ukrainian military personnel, weapon production, and American support.
Zelensky stressed that the priority for Ukraine is to acquire additional air defense systems and missiles for them.
Discussions also included issues of sanction pressure on Russia and the use of proceeds from Russian assets for Ukraine's needs.
