Zaporizhzhia Region to Become a Fortress: Head of OVA Revealed the Defense Plan Against Russians.

In Zaporizhzhia, the construction of the third line of fortifications will begin, as the region is to become a fortress. This was announced by the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, during a telethon broadcast.
«The first task that was set has been completed by the military in mid-summer. Currently, we continue together with the military to build the second, third lines and the defense of the cities in Zaporizhzhia region», – he said.
Fedorov emphasized that the number of support lines being constructed remains confidential, and he will not name them. However, the head of the OVA noted that these lines are constantly being modernized.
According to Fedorov, the main goal of fortification now is to protect against FPV drones, hence anti-drone nets and other measures are necessary.
«The second line is almost 99.9% ready, and the third line will be completed in the coming weeks. Then we will proceed to build defensive structures according to the timelines provided by the General Staff», – added Fedorov.
Recall that the government allocated 1.3 billion hryvnias for constructing fortification structures in the Zaporizhzhia region. These are well-known «dragon's teeth». The head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, spoke about orders and contracts for building fortification facilities.
Fedorov noted that many contracts have already been signed for constructing fortification structures, but the number of contracts is not equal to the number of defense structures or anti-tank ditches.
As previously reported, the Russians are actively building defensive lines in the form of «dragon's teeth» in the occupied territories of Ukraine. These «dragon's teeth» are made at a reinforced concrete products factory in Gomel (Belarus).
Furthermore, China supplies Russia with a significant number of excavators during the same period when the occupiers began constructing fortification installations in the captured territories of Ukraine.
