According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of December 18, 2024, the losses of Russian invaders have been updated.
Russia's Losses as of December 18, 2024
Among the losses of the Russian Federation in the war on December 18 were:
- personnel - about 766,690 (+1580) people,
- tanks - 9571 (+4) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 19772 (+21) units,
- artillery systems - 21164 (+5) units,
- MLRS - 1256 (+0) units,
- anti-aircraft systems - 1025 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 329 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 20470 (+64),
- cruise missiles - 2943 (+0) units,
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 31610 (+60) units,
- special equipment - 3652 (+2).
Activity of the Occupant Fleet as of December 18
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea.
- No enemy ships in the Azov Sea.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are six enemy ships, three of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 25 missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- one vessel to the Black Sea;
- five vessels to the Azov Sea, two of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).
Currently, the full-scale war in Ukraine has reached its 1029th day.
