The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Russia's Losses in the War as of April 16, 2025

According to updated data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost:

  • personnel - about 936210 (+1050) individuals,
  • tanks - 10638 (+9) units,
  • combat armored vehicles - 22163 (+13) units,
  • artillery systems - 26377 (+87) units,
  • MLRS - 1364 (+0) units,
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1132 (+0) units,
  • aircraft - 370 (+0) units,
  • helicopters - 335 (+0) units,
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 32837 (+146),
  • cruise missiles - 3145 (+0),
  • ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 44472 (+133) units,
  • special equipment - 3804 (+3).

Activity of the Occupants' Fleet as of April 16

  • There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea;
  • There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
  • In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships that are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to 26 missiles.

In the interests of the Russian Federation, six vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in one day:

  • to the Black Sea - six vessels, of which five continued their course towards the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov - five vessels, of which two continued their course from the Bosporus Strait.

As we know, the full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1148 days.

With the updated reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it became known that on April 16, 2025, Russia again suffered serious losses in the war with Ukraine. In total, the occupiers lost a significant number of personnel, equipment, and ships. Personnel has increased to over 936 thousand individuals, and the number of tanks, combat vehicles, and artillery systems has also risen. Significant damage has been inflicted on the fleets of the occupiers. Russian ships are absent in both the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. However, in the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, continue to operate. Russian fleets managed to pass through the Kerch Strait and continue their course towards the Black and Azov Seas.
