Waltz: Trump team exploring proposals to end the war in Ukraine.

After the presidential elections in the United States, allies from Europe and Ukraine are offering the team of the new US President Donald Trump ways to 'stop this conflict'.
This was stated in an interview on CBS Face the Nation on Sunday by Michael Waltz, Trump's nominee for National Security Advisor. He noted that everyone is coming to Trump’s team to discuss questions of 'how to stop the conflict, restore stability, and put an end to this once and for all'.
'We are thinking through these questions with a fantastic team that he is assembling,' Waltz said.
He also emphasized that before Trump's inauguration, his team is closely collaborating with the current US administration, including any negotiations regarding a ceasefire in Ukraine.
During a meeting between Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the role of Europeans after the end of the conflict was discussed. President Trump clearly indicated that he wants the war to be stopped and is concerned about the number of casualties in this military conflict.
Trump's strategy does not involve providing 'blank checks' for Ukraine, Michael Waltz pointed out.
