Refusal of the Dollar: Trump Threatened BRICS Countries with Trade Sanctions.

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke very sternly regarding the BRICS countries, threatening them with 100% tariffs if they try to create an alternative to the U.S. dollar in international trade.

On the Truth Social platform, the president labeled the BRICS countries as 'hostile' and stated that he would demand their commitment not to create a new currency.

'The idea that the BRICS countries are trying to move away from the dollar, while we watch from a distance, IS OVER. We are going to demand that these hostile countries commit not to create a new BRICS currency and not to support any other currency instead of the U.S. dollar, otherwise they will face 100% tariffs and have problems selling to our U.S. economy,' wrote President Trump.

Trump also stated that BRICS countries can 'look for another failed country,' as there are no chances that BRICS will replace the U.S. dollar in international trade.
