The USA is providing Ukraine with economic assistance amounting to $437.7 million
According to the acting Special Representative of the USA for Ukraine's Economic Recovery, the USA plans to provide Ukraine with four packages of economic assistance. Specifically, $74.7 million will be directed to support the Ukrainian agricultural sector, $223 million for the restoration of transport infrastructure and logistics, $35 million to the Ukraine Recovery Trust Fund, and $105 million for training Ukrainians who will work in reconstruction and industry.
US President Joe Biden also supported the decision to allocate a new package of security and defense assistance to Ukraine, which will include air defense means and other types of weapons.
It is also known that the Canadian House of Commons has approved the allocation of 764 million Canadian dollars for military assistance to Ukraine, as well as 400 million Canadian dollars for financial assistance from the special account of the International Monetary Fund.
