From banking limits to technical inspection and the disconnection of 3G: what changes await Ukrainians from June 1.

Important changes for Ukrainians starting in June 2025
Beginning in June 2025, Ukrainians will begin to feel the effects of several innovations concerning financial transactions, transportation, trade, and military accounting. Among the most important changes are the return of limits on bank transfers, the increased cost of car technical inspections, and the end of trade preferences with the European Union.
Bank transfers again under restrictions
From June 1, limits on transfers between cards in Ukraine will be restored with new parameters. To increase the limit, customers must provide the bank with documents to confirm their income. Restrictions apply to all types of transfers, except for certain cases.
According to Oleksandr Khmelevskyy, a stable situation with the exchange rate is expected in June.
Trade preferences with the EU are ending
The autonomous trade measures with the European Union will also expire, leading to annual losses for Ukrainian exporters. Negotiations are ongoing regarding new trade conditions with the EU.
Technical inspection becomes more expensive and stricter
The cost of car technical inspections is rising along with stricter requirements for the procedure starting May 19.
Changes in military accounting for IDPs
An updated mobilization procedure is being implemented for internally displaced persons, as well as changes to the military-medical commission.
A stable exchange rate and moderate price fluctuations are expected in June.
