In Ukraine, the rules for mobilization reservations have been tightened: salary of 20000 hryvnias and more.

Starting from December 1, 2024, a new system for reserving employees from mobilization will be introduced in Ukraine. The government has decided on changes to the rules concerning enterprises and the establishment of clear requirements.
According to Forbes Ukraine, the document that outlines new criteria for enterprises is currently in the final stages of approval and awaits signing. Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindraty confirmed this information.
Under the new system, enterprises must meet three criteria, two of which are mandatory. The first criterion is the absence of tax liabilities. The second is the establishment of a minimum salary of 20,000 hryvnias, which equals 2.5 minimum wages. This amount also serves as the minimum for each conscripted employee planned for reservation.
'This will help reduce the risk of abuse, where companies employ a person for a 'shadow' agreement regarding reservation and pay only the minimum required,' explains Vitaliy Kindraty.
The third criterion will be chosen by the enterprises from a list of regional or industry requirements specified in the relevant document. At the same Time, regional military administrations must coordinate their criteria with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Defense.
