The Russian army compensates for its losses with strategic reserves
The Russian Federation is deploying strategic reserves to maintain the pace of the offensive. This indicates that the losses in the Russian army are significant and need to be compensated.
This was stated by military observer Denis Popovich on the FREEDOM TV channel.
According to him, partial mobilization measures currently being carried out in Russia through financial conditions can only compensate for losses to zero.
“If we refer to Dmitry Medvedev’s words that they recruit about a thousand people a day in the Russian Federation, that’s 30,000 people a month, and just today, if I’m not mistaken, about 1,200 people were eliminated as a result of the past day. So we see that their losses now exceed recruitment capabilities, which will lead to the Russians facing a shortage of reserves and the inability to replenish their units with personnel,” Popovich explained.
He noted that indirect confirmations also indicate the high losses of the Russian army.
“Information regarding the large number of coffins going to the territory of the Russian Federation from Ukraine, the shortage of doctors, the increase in burials in the regions of the Russian Federation, and the increase in financial rewards to attract new recruits to serve in the Russian army — all this confirms the data on high losses,” said the military observer.
Popovich expressed the opinion that when there are not enough people in Russia willing to go to war for money, mobilization will be announced in the country.
