Ukrnafta is implementing 'green' technologies in its network of gas stations.
At the first gas station in Kyiv, located in the Obolon district, a solar power plant has been installed. This will help save costs on electricity and reduce the station's dependence on centralized power supply, making it more autonomous.
The power of the solar power plant is 25 kW. It consists of 44 panels connected to a modern inverter with artificial intelligence functions. Currently, the station works only for the needs of the complex.
Thanks to one such solar power plant, hundreds of thousands of hryvnias can be saved annually, and from March to October, it will be able to cover more than half of the station's total consumption. Modern solar panels have a lifespan of 20-25 years, and maintenance costs are minimal, making them a profitable long-term investment,' said the director of PJSC 'Ukrnafta' Serhiy Koretsky. - Also, in conditions of electricity shortage, a local solar power plant reduces the load on the energy system.'
The use of renewable energy sources helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to environmental protection, which is in line with the company's ESG strategy.
