Ukraine responded to Trump's proposal.

The USA is interested in Ukrainian rare earth metals - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated the interest of the United States of America in Ukrainian rare earth metals during a press conference with British Foreign Minister David Lammy.
According to Sybiha, Ukraine's rare earth resources are a guarantee of attracting big business to the country and the interest of our closest allies. He reminded that in the plan for Ukraine's victory, there is a point concerning natural resources and joint development with investments from partners.
'In the victory plan presented by Volodymyr Zelensky, there was a point regarding the mineral resources that Ukraine is rich in, specifically about the possibility for our partners to invest and jointly develop them, as this is our common strategic interest,' stated the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Sybiha also emphasized that this is one of the specific goals of achieving peace through strength. 'This is also an element of guaranteeing the presence of big business in Ukraine, significant interests, and protecting our closest allies - the USA - in the development of such deposits,' he noted.
Recall that Financial Times assessed whether Donald Trump's proposal for metals meets Volodymyr Zelensky's plan.
