On Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not include the issue of extending the term of the mandatory military-medical commission for conscripts with the 'limited fitness' category on its agenda.
'During a joint meeting of the Committee on Law Enforcement and the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, an agreement was reached that conscripts with the 'limited fitness' category who did not manage to undergo the VLK by February 5 will not be held administratively accountable,' said a parliamentarian.
As a result of intercommittee consultations, a decision was made to extend the term for undergoing the VLK until June 5.
It is important to note that during this period, no penalties will be applied to conscripts, and they will not be included in wanted lists. This decision is intended to ensure a more organized process for passing the medical commission and reduce the burden on the relevant institutions.
Earlier it became known that Ukrainians with disabilities and those temporarily unfit will need more documents for deferment.
