In Kamianets-Podilskyi, security measures have been intensified due to reports of a terrorist threat. This was reported by the city's mayor, Mykhailo Positok.

According to the report, surveillance systems will be installed to monitor the situation in real-Time. Special equipment with metal detectors will also be set up at the city council.

Recall that the counterintelligence of the Security Service detained two FSB agents. They were planning to carry out terrorist acts by blowing up eight deputies of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city council in Khmelnytskyi region. This was reported with reference to the SBU.

It is noted that the detainees were producing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which they planned to place under the cars of potential victims and detonate. This allowed Russian special services to destabilize the socio-political situation and spread panic among the population.

Law enforcement detained the Russian agents while they were producing explosive devices in a rented apartment in the city center. The agents planned to install the deputies' vehicles and conduct reconnaissance to plant the explosive devices.

As previously reported, the Security Service and the National Police detained a Russian agent in Odesa who was producing improvised explosive devices for terrorist acts throughout Ukraine. According to the investigation, one of such explosives was used by the Russians against Ukrainian law enforcement in the city of Bilyaivka on March 23 of this year.

Earlier, the Security Service, together with the National Police, prevented another terrorist act in Lviv. As a result of the special operation, two enemy agents were detained, who were planning to blow up an administrative building of the local police department.

Additionally, a Russian female agent was detained in Poltava region who was preparing explosions near the police department and the local territorial recruitment center.

The FSB agents were detained during an attempt to carry out a terrorist act in Kamianets-Podilskyi. They were producing improvised explosive devices that they planned to place under the cars of city council deputies. Employees of the Security Service prevented them from attempting to destabilize the situation in the country and create panic among the population. All detained individuals were involved in transportation. It is worth noting the successful cooperation of Ukrainian special services in preventing terrorist acts on the territory of the country.
