Taiwan declares full combat readiness due to China's ballistic missile launch.

Ministry of Defense of Taiwan has announced a state of combat readiness after several rocket launches in the depths of China, reports Reuters.
The Taiwanese defense department reported multiple waves of activity starting from 6:50 AM local Time on Saturday, September 28, from the side of the missile troops and army of China in the provinces and regions of Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang. They are located at least 2000 km from the island.
"Taiwanese armed forces constantly monitor the relevant developments, and the air defense forces maintain a high level of vigilance and have increased their combat readiness," - noted in the statement of the department.
On Wednesday, China announced that it successfully conducted a rare launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile towards the Pacific Ocean.
The next day, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan raised the alarm due to a new surge in Chinese military activity around the island and live-fire exercises, accusing Beijing of using a policy of instability. Chinese military in response stated that their activities around the island are "legal" and that the exercises will continue further.
The Ministry of Defense of China did not respond to calls for comment during non-working hours.
Democratically governed Taiwan, which China considers its territory, closely monitors Chinese military exercises, given the regular activity of Beijing around the island, but only rarely publishes details of what happens inside the PRC.
