Fines and account blockage: men will have 15 days to avoid problems due to the MCC.

Ukrainian legislation has introduced new rules regarding military registration and mobilization. Citizens face serious fines for not updating their military registration data on Time or evading mobilization activities. The amount of the fine ranges from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias, which is a significant sum for many citizens.
This information is published by 'Khvylya' with reference to the provisions of the new mobilization law, which came into force on May 18, 2024.
Grounds for imposing a fine can be various violations: lack of updated data in the military commissariat, refusal of a medical commission, ignoring a summons, evading military registration, or even a situation where a citizen was handed a summons during a document check on the street.
The imposed fine must be paid within 15 days. If there is no money, the case is transferred to the executive service, which has the right to block the offender's bank accounts. In addition, the amount of the fine is automatically doubled. If the debt exceeds 160,000 hryvnias, the debtor's property, including housing, can be seized under arrest.
In this regard, if there are problems in fulfilling the requirements of the military commissariat, it is important not to delay and consult a lawyer or directly contact the MCC for consultation. In some cases, it is possible to appeal the fine or find legal ways to reduce it.
It is worth noting that ignoring summonses can have more serious consequences. Therefore, citizens are advised to carefully monitor changes in legislation and regularly check information from military commissariats and government agencies. This will help to avoid unforeseen situations and fines in the future.
Previously, it was reported that conscripts must go through the MCC and SP and receive their registration in September.
