Ceasefire declared by Russia
Russian media reported a ceasefire against Ukraine starting from midnight on May 8 for three days, initiated by Vladimir Putin.
Despite the absence of an official statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, news agencies and leading Russian resources reported the start of a 'truce' by the occupiers.
According to the Russian leadership, the 'ceasefire' was supposed to last for three days and end at midnight on May 11. At the same Time, Ukrainian military warns of the occupiers' readiness for a night assault on Pokrovsk in Donetsk region.
On the night of May 7, the occupiers carried out an attack on Kyiv using drones. A video of this incident was published, showing the enemy drone hitting a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, reports 'Glavkom.'
These events indicate a deterioration of the situation in eastern Ukraine and risks for citizens in the conflict zone.
