The US discusses with partners how to respond to DPRK troops in Russia - State Department.

The US State Department announced consultations with countries regarding how to respond to the actions of Russia and North Korea concerning the deployment of DPRK troops to Russian territory and their possible engagement in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller.
Miller confirmed that the US is conducting consultations with Ukrainians, allies, and partners about the next steps. However, he did not disclose details of the negotiations due to their confidential nature.
The State Department spokesperson also confirmed the transfer of North Korean troops to Russia, pointing to the movement of some of these troops to the west, closer to Ukraine.
Miller expressed concern about the possibility of Russia using DPRK manpower to conduct or support combat operations against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.
