Information about secret 'underground cities' in the USA
Katherine Austin Fitts, a former assistant to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development during President George H.W. Bush's administration, claims that there is a complex network of 'underground cities' in America worth $21 trillion. According to her, these bunkers were created to shelter the ultra-wealthy in the event of a global catastrophe that could lead to human extinction.
74-year-old Fitts spoke about this during an interview with Tucker Carlson. She noted that the federal government of the USA has been funding this project with taxpayer money.
Fitts refers to a report by economist Mark Skidmore from Michigan State University in 2017, which discusses 'unauthorized expenditures' in the Pentagon and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She also claims that after examining the records, she found evidence of a broader network of bunkers linked by a transportation system and powered by a secret energy system.
Experts and critics have expressed doubts about the credibility of these claims, considering Fitts' theory to be conspiratorial. Despite this, there is a growing demand for bunkers and bomb shelters worldwide due to fears of potential global catastrophes.
