Snow and Wind Gusts: Meteorologists Warn of Deteriorating Weather.


According to meteorologists' forecasts, the weather will deteriorate. According to the State Emergency Service, on December 13, during the night and morning in Ukraine, except for the western regions, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected.
The first level of danger has been declared, yellow.
In Kyiv and surrounding areas, light snow will fall at night, while there will be no precipitation during the day. The minimum temperature at night will be -5 to -7°C, while during the day it will be -2 to -4°C.
Rescuers urge residents to be cautious and take care of their safety.
As a reminder, yesterday a snowstorm occurred in Zhytomyr, covering the city with snow. The city council reported that work is being carried out to treat roads, bridges, and sidewalks to prevent icing. To avoid slipperiness on the streets, roads were treated with anti-icing agents at night by the Municipal Enterprise 'Road Management'.
In Lviv, efforts continue to combat the aftermath of the snowfall that began yesterday. To clear the roads in the city, 120 units of equipment were deployed, including street cleaners, although not all were able to start work on Time due to access issues from adjacent areas.
