Special Operations Forces showed how they repelled the attack of North Korean military in Kursk.
The soldiers of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an attack by North Korean troops in the Kursk region. The Center's press service published a video of the operation.
During the enemy's attempt to storm, the Special Operations Forces operators opened fire with the MK-19 automatic tripod grenade launcher and also carried out a number of drops from drones.
As a result of the enemy's attempted assault, the fighters destroyed 12 North Korean soldiers and wounded another 20.
Moreover, the SSO operators were able to provide first aid to a wounded infantryman from a friendly unit and successfully evacuated him from the battlefield.
North Korean military losses during the assault on Ukrainian positions
It should be noted that over the weekend, the 11th Army Corps of North Korea suffered significant losses during the assault on Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region. According to Forbes, approximately 200 soldiers were killed or wounded. Part of these losses resulted from the use of explosive drones by Ukrainian forces decorated with Christmas ornaments.

Furthermore, South Korean intelligence reported the losses of North Korean troops in Kursk. At least a hundred North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia were killed, and another thousand were wounded during fierce fighting with Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.
