Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russians near Pishchane in Donetsk – 'Khortytsia'.

Ukrainian military is confronting Russian forces near Pishchane, located near Pokrovsk in Donetsk region. The war continues, as reported by the spokesperson of the Joint Forces Operation 'Khortytsia', Nazar Voloshyn.
According to him, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs) have not reached Pokrovsk, but fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the city. Russian forces are trying to approach the city, using bypass routes on the left and right flanks to avoid frontal assault.
Voloshyn emphasized that Pokrovsk is of great importance due to the railway passing through it, which the Russians are trying to capture. However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to repel the Russian forces near Pishchane - a village near Pokrovsk. The enemy has retreated to their fortified positions, and fighting continues.
The spokesperson also noted that in the direction of Pokrovsk, the enemy outnumbers Ukrainian Defense Forces in terms of numbers. For example, the enemy deploys four brigades against one Ukrainian brigade, which is ready for assault actions.
