The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported that a criminal proceeding has been initiated against the officials of the ARMA. They are accused of abusing their office.

The press service of the SAP announced this via Telegram on Wednesday, July 16.

The prosecutor's office commented on the public outcry and also responded to media inquiries, stating that incorrect information was disseminated.

According to the SAP, law enforcement officials have initiated a criminal proceeding due to possible abuses by the officials of the National Agency for the Detection, Search, and Management of Assets derived from Corruption and other Crimes.

The preliminary investigation in this case will be conducted by the NABU. At the same Time, the SAP emphasized that no suspicions have been announced to anyone at this time.

The SAP also noted that the initiation of the investigation was based on materials from a journalistic investigation by the publication 'Ukrainska Pravda'.
