Missile strike on an educational institution in Sumy: children among the injured (photos, video).


According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), rescuers are dealing with the aftermath of a missile strike carried out by the Russian enemy in Sumy. According to the latest data, 18 people were injured in the attack, including six children.
On the evening of September 1, an enemy missile hit an educational institution that houses a center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children and an orphanage. The building was partially destroyed, resulting in a fire. Residential buildings were also damaged.
Emergency services quickly dealt with the fire. According to preliminary data, there are six children among the injured.
Work is underway to eliminate the consequences.
As previously reported, damage also occurred in Sumy as a result of a missile strike late in the evening of September 1.
Let us recall that on the night of September 2, Russian occupiers attacked the regions of Kyiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv using ballistic, cruise, and anti-aircraft missiles, as well as Shahed-type attack drones from the southern direction.
Rescuers in Kyiv are also dealing with the aftermath of the morning attack in the Svatoshinsky, Holosiivsky, and Shevchenko districts.
In addition, the Kyiv region also suffered as a result of the morning attack. Although infrastructure and people did not suffer, fragments damaged three houses and two cars.
