A new government has been appointed in Ukraine
'The Rada appointed the new composition of the Syvrydenko government. 'For' — 254 deputies (of which 194 votes were from the 'Servant of the People' party),' said people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram.
The composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers looks as follows:
- Mikhail Fedorov — First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation;
- Alexey Kuleba — Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine;
- Taras Kachka — Deputy Prime Minister for Eurointegration;
- Matviy Bidny — Minister of Youth and Sports;
- Herman Halushchenko — Minister of Justice;
- Svitlana Hrynchuk — Minister of Energy;
- Natalia Kalmykova — Minister for Veterans Affairs;
- Oksen Lisovyi — Minister of Education and Science;
- Victor Lyashko — Minister of Health;
- Sergiy Marchenko — Minister of Finance;
- Alexey Sobolev — Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture;
- Denys Uliutin — Minister of Social Policy.
Zheleznyak also noted that two more ministers will be appointed — the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense. Andrii Sybyha and Denys Shmyhal will take these positions, respectively.
On July 17, the Rada approved Syvrydenko as the new Prime Minister. 262 people's deputies voted 'for'.
Shortly, Volodymyr Zelensky named the main tasks of the updated government. First of all, the Cabinet must conduct an audit of all agreements, contracts, and memorandums with partners in all areas.
In September 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the new composition of the Syvrydenko government and outlined the main tasks of the updated Cabinet of Ministers.
