Shmyhal's Meeting with the President of the World Bank
At the UN conference in Spain, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga. They discussed support for Ukraine during the war in Donbas.
'Since the beginning of the war, the World Bank has allocated over 77 billion dollars to Ukraine,' Shmyhal said.
Shmyhal thanked for the assistance and noted that together with the World Bank they are working on restoring infrastructure, building housing for schools, supporting small businesses and agriculture. The preparation for post-war recovery and Ukraine's integration into the European Union was also discussed.
Cooperation Between Ukraine and the World Bank
Ukraine is actively cooperating with the World Bank on important projects and reforms aimed at improving the lives of citizens and restoring the economy of the country.
During the meeting of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal with President of the World Bank Ajay Banga, the support that the bank provides to the country during the war in the east was discussed, as well as joint projects for infrastructure restoration and the development of Ukraine's economy. Shmyhal thanked for the assistance and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the World Bank and Ukraine.
