Pension Tricks: Expert Unveils Secrets of Allowances and Seniority.

Journalist Serhiy Korobkin, an expert in pension issues, responded to letters from readers of the newspaper "Na pensii", examining three typical situations affecting many pensioners.
In the first letter from Odesa, Klavdiya Mykolayivna asked about the pension allowance for children of war. Korobkin explained:
"As of today, the amount of such an allowance is only 66.43 UAH. However, when this law was adopted, the allowance was supposed to be set as high as 30% of the subsistence minimum".He advised checking the allowance payment through the local Pension Fund or via the personal account on the e-services web portal of the PFU.
The second letter came from Yevgen Oleksandrovych from Podilsk, Odesa region, regarding the counting of work experience in the Far North. The journalist noted:
"Work in the Far North regions before 1991, under certain conditions, is counted as one and a half times the actual Time. That is, one year of work is counted as one year and six months".He emphasized the importance of having documents confirming the conclusion of a fixed-term employment contract to receive this benefit.

The third letter from Yuliya Yuriyivna from Ivano-Frankivsk region concerned her husband's pension, who worked in the forestry sector. Korobkin explained that seasonal work in forestry, marked as "work in the kolkhoz", is a conditional technical mark that does not affect the pension calculation. He also clarified:
"The right to a civil servant's pension was not granted to her husband. Because the work of a forester is not related to Civil Service positions".
Serhiy Korobkin urged viewers to share their stories and express opinions about the video review format.
