Odesa stood still — residents honored the memory of those killed in the war.

Today, July 9, movement temporarily stopped in Sobornaya Square in the historic center of Odesa. This was because activists and residents honored the memory of those killed in the war with a traditional action 'Minute of Silence'. Residents of the Peresyp district also supported and joined them, coming to the crossroads of Semen Paliy and Vladyslav Buvalkin streets with posters about the victims of armed aggression.
News.LIVE learned this from the organizers of the action.
Honoring the memory of the fallen
Activists came to Sobornaya Square with posters in memory of those killed as a result of Russian aggression. The main goal of the action is to remind residents that soldiers give their lives for independence on the front lines every day, while civilians die from regular shelling. The organizers emphasize: we are obligated to honor these people.

Minute of Silence
It is worth noting that honoring the memory is announced every day in all cities of Ukraine, according to the presidential decree No. 143/2022 'On the nationwide minute of silence for those killed as a result of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine'. Organizers of the action invite people to join them every Wednesday and Saturday at 08:50.

Let us remind you, we recently wrote about a rally near the International Red Cross Committee in Odesa. As well as about the action of military relatives.
