The prisoner exchange took place despite the concealment of data by the Russian Federation - Coordination Staff.

Ukraine has conducted another prisoner exchange, resulting in the return of those who fell into Russian captivity. These were seriously ill, severely wounded, and young prisoners of war under the age of 25. Their captivity was confirmed by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other sources. This was reported by «Glavkom» citing the Coordination Staff on the treatment of prisoners of war.

The Coordination Staff is gathering information about Ukrainians who are held captive in various locations and is continuously updating data. The group successfully returned another team of Ukrainian defenders from captivity. This operation took place under the conditions agreed upon by the parties within the agreements that were concluded in Istanbul.

Among the returned servicemen were representatives of various state structures - these were soldiers from the Navy, Ground Forces, Territorial Defense, Volunteer Corps, Special Operations Forces, National Guard of Ukraine, State Border Service, and the State Service of Special Transport.

The Ukrainian side continues to make efforts to return all citizens held captive in occupied territories. This exchange is an important step towards resolving humanitarian issues during the war in Donbas.

The Coordination Staff for the treatment of prisoners of war continues to actively work, facilitating the exchange of seriously ill, severely wounded, and young prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia. The return of representatives from various state structures indicates the wide range of participants involved in this exchange, which is of great importance for all Ukrainians.
