NYT: Zelensky Obtained Mention of Security from Trump in Minerals Agreement.

The United States supports Ukraine's efforts to obtain security guarantees, according to an agreement obtained by The New York Times. The agreement contains new wording that Kyiv insisted on adding but does not provide specific details about American security commitments to Ukraine.
The draft agreement demonstrates the United States' support for Ukraine's efforts to obtain security guarantees for lasting peace. This was reported by anonymous Ukrainian officials and individuals familiar with the negotiations.
It is known that on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Washington to sign the agreement with President Trump. The U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and the Ukrainian Minister of Economy will also participate in the agreement.
Ukraine demanded the inclusion of security commitments in the document, while the U.S. initially refused to do so. Additionally, Ukraine agrees to transfer half of its revenues from U.S. natural resources in order to gain their support.
American support for European peacekeeping forces is also linked to security guarantees in Ukraine.
