Mobilization of women: the State Border Service of Ukraine responded if data updates are checked at the border.

The representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU) Andriy Demchenko stated that the data updates of women liable for military service will not be checked at the border. He announced this during a telethon. This concerns the registration and crossing of the border, which have become especially relevant. Recently, this topic has attracted public attention. However, Demchenko explained that border guards will not check data updates for women liable for military service, and they have the right to cross the border. Thanks to this post, SBSU reminded that for men who have the right to travel abroad, a military ticket is mandatory.
Drawing attention to the restrictions related to border crossing, Demchenko noted that they only apply to male Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60 years. Other categories, such as women and young men, are not restricted in their right to cross the border. This information was also confirmed by the State Border Service. In response to a question about checking data updates for women at Temporary Control Points (TCP), Demchenko confirmed that the check will not be conducted. If at any moment there are restrictions for other categories of citizens, the State Border Service will inform about it.
Let us remind that the Ministry of Defense previously indicated that after updating the data at Temporary Control Points, the first to be called to service.
