Ministry of Defense announces new deferrals in 'Reserve+'.

The Ministry of Defense is developing an online deferral system
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is working on creating a system that will allow obtaining deferrals online. According to information from the magazine 'Governing Body', this was reported by Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense.
According to her, from this week, persons with disabilities who do not have a pension certificate will have access to deferrals from conscription.
New deferrals will appear in the 'Reserve+' system by May 8. They will be granted to individuals who cannot serve in the military for 6-12 months for medical reasons. This deferral will be provided by the military medical commission.
The system will also include deferrals for individuals whose spouse is in military service and who have a minor child under 18 years old.
Chernogorenko emphasized: 'The creation of the deferral system is a complex and multi-level process. We need to ensure interaction between the registers of various ministries and organizations, understand how the deferral application system will work. It is important to make the process quick and convenient for people so that they do not have to gather documents or stand in line.'
The Ministry of Defense is working to ensure that 'all types of deferrals provided for by law can be obtained online.'
It is worth noting that last autumn deferrals were launched for three categories of individuals: disabled persons with a pension certificate from the Pension Fund, students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates, as well as large families with three minor children.
The 'Reserve+' system currently has an automatic extension of deferrals. This service is currently available for persons with disabilities who have a Pension Fund certificate, as well as for students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates. There will be further expansion of functionalities for large families.
