The Mayor of Kharkiv spoke about the new tactic of Russian strikes on the city.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have changed their shelling tactics in Kharkiv.
The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported that the Russian forces have changed their shelling tactics in the city. In previous days, the city had been shelled by drones many times, but last night was calm. This information was provided by the mayor himself.
Terekhov reported that now the Russian forces use a new shelling tactic - they simultaneously target one object with drones. This tactic involves many drones shelling one location in Kharkiv within a very short period of Time. We witnessed this when 17 drones shelled one area of Kharkiv within an hour,' the mayor noted.
On the evening of April 8, Russian armed formations shelled the Kyiv, Industrial, and Osnovyansky districts of Kharkiv. The attack was directed at civilian enterprises, warehouses, and industrial buildings.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that the Russian Federation has begun a new phase of a large-scale offensive and is increasing pressure on the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
Analysis:
Throughout the war in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Federation is continuously changing its tactics of combat. The introduction of new drone shelling tactics may aim to deprive the Ukrainian army of the ability to detect Russian positions and neutralize them. This example shows how Russia is improving its military arsenal and striving to master modern technologies.
