Sum Club sensationally won the European Champions Cup.


The Ukrainian women's team MSK 'Sumchanka' became the European indoor hockey champion. The competition took place in Šiauliai, Lithuania, from February 14 to 16. In the semifinals, the Ukrainians defeated the German club Mannheimer with a score of 3:0 and reached the finals. In the final, MSK 'Sumchanka' won against the Dutch club Stichtsche Cricket with a score of 2:2 (penalties 2:0). The best scorer of the tournament was the Ukrainian Karina Leonova, who scored 10 goals. This is already the second medal for MSK 'Sumchanka' in these competitions: earlier they took silver (2009) and bronze (2015, 2020, 2024), as well as finished in 4th place (2008, 2010, 2018).
It is also worth noting that in other team competitions of the Invictus Games, the Ukrainian team won bronze in sitting volleyball, defeating the Great Britain team with a score of 21:9 and 21:17.
