Klopotenko visiting Zaluzhny. Social networks surprised by scandalous chef's footwear (photo).

Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko published a joint photo with General, now Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valeriy Zaluzhny. The network was surprised that the cook arrived in London during the war. Ukrainians were also surprised by the footwear that Klopotenko wore to meet the diplomat.
According to Klopotenko, his trip is related to participation... in a charity gala dinner. However, some users were outraged that the cook received permission to cross the border. Previously, Klopotenko stated that he is not joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine because he believes he is much more useful on the home front. However, he updated his mobilization data immediately, he said.
Meanwhile, it became known that Klopotenko and Zaluzhny made a "borscht" bet in London.
"Zaluzhny doesn't like borscht. But we made a bet that I will change that. So stay tuned for news on this matter, in short," wrote Klopotenko. According to him, the term of the "agreement" for Valeriy Zaluzhny to like borscht is 80 days.
In the comments, people actively discussed both Zaluzhny's "dislike" of borscht and Klopotenko's style. The showman-chef came to the meeting in pink rubber slippers of a famous brand. Such shoes are commonly referred to as "rich people's galoshes."
Many Ukrainians were shocked that the famous general doesn't eat borscht. There were also many who noticed that Zaluzhny had lost weight in the United Kingdom.
Users don't understand how one could wear pink Crocs to a meeting with the ambassador.
Recall that Klopotenko published an unusual recipe on Tik-tok: fried sandals in batter. However, not all Ukrainians appreciated such a culinary improvisation. People reproached that during the war it is inappropriate to "waste" food, recalled the Holodomor, and 'joked' whether such a dish will be on the updated menu for schoolchildren.
By the way, it's not the first Time Klopotenko has faced backlash. Recently, he suggested creating a more modern anthem for the capital to replace the song "Kyive miy." However, the majority of users did not appreciate the showman's sudden idea.
