Estonia is building a powerful NATO munitions factory.

The government of Estonia plans to create a state company Hexest AS for the construction of a military explosive manufacturing plant near Pärnu. The factory will produce 600 tons of RDX explosives annually, which are important for artillery shells.
This decision is part of Estonia's efforts to strengthen its own defense capabilities and support European allies. It is made in the context of changing geopolitical realities and the reduction of American military assistance to Europe.
RDX is a powerful explosive substance that will allow the production of a significant number of artillery shells. It is used as an alternative to Russian shells and meets NATO standards.
This step will also lead to strengthening the defense industrial base of Europe and ensuring raw materials for allies. At the same Time, it symbolizes Estonia's readiness to take risks in the face of Russian threats and creates new jobs and investments in the region.
The Estonian factory is significant for supporting the defense needs of Europe, regardless of the size of the state. This is another step toward ensuring self-sufficiency and independence in a geopolitical context.
