The revenue of the global aviation industry will exceed one trillion dollars by 2025 - IATA forecast.

The aviation industry predicts growth in business metrics
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects that by 2025, the total revenue of the aviation sector will exceed one trillion dollars, and the number of passengers will reach a record level. Despite challenges in supplying new aircraft, airlines from all countries are facing issues in this sector.
According to Reuters, airlines are struggling with aircraft supply issues due to delays in the production of Boeing and Airbus, as well as their parts suppliers.
Without new, more efficient aircraft, airlines cannot reduce fuel costs while increasing the number of passengers.
'We have given them enough Time. I believe our patience has run out. The situation is unacceptable,' said IATA Director General Willie Walsh during a press conference in Geneva.
Walsh pointed out that suppliers behave like 'quasi-monopolies' and seem to be taking advantage of the problems they have created themselves. Critics argue that these delays have led to increased spare parts prices, unexpectedly benefiting suppliers at the expense of airlines.
'We will have to exert more pressure and possibly seek support to force key suppliers to meet their obligations,' said Walsh, who previously led British Airways and has extensive experience in this field.
The world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus, reduced its delivery targets in July, while Boeing lowered production rates due to strikes and regulatory processes following safety issues.
Engine manufacturers have also faced a series of setbacks.
The aviation industry claims it is gradually recovering, but warns of ongoing pressure on supply chains that will last until 2025.
