Democrats Frustrated by Leadership's Reaction to Trump's Actions - Media.

Strategists believe that the leadership of the Democratic Party is reacting to Trump's actions inconsistently and not aggressively enough. They argue that such a response is ineffective in countering Trump, who has taken several steps to change the government.
In the first two weeks of his presidency, Trump issued several executive orders, dismantled oversight bodies, and halted some government programs, reports ZN.UA via The Hill.
Despite the start of a counterattack from the Democrats, strategists claim that it is not enough, especially given that some Democrats in the Senate supported Trump's cabinet nominees alongside Republicans.
'Democratic leadership is acting as if we still live in 2006, when we controlled the Senate. But trying to act that way is impossible since we are no longer in that world. In the Oval Office is a criminal and a fraud who is trying to turn our country into a dictatorship. We need to act accordingly,' said Democratic Party strategist Kristi Setzer.
Tensions rose during a phone call last week between Democratic governors and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer (NY). Six Democratic governors, including J.B. Pritzker of Illinois and Maura Healey of Massachusetts, insist that Schumer fight more decisively against Trump's agenda.
'Democrats in the Senate are not united on how decisively we should oppose Trump's agenda, and those Democrats who will run in states with elections are looking for ways to come to an agreement,' reports The Hill.
