Blinken: The US is ready for direct dialogue with the new government in Syria.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has announced a possible delegation to Syria.
He reported this in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to the head of American diplomacy, the U.S. already maintains direct contacts with the rebel group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' (HTS), which has taken control of the country after the fall of Bashar Assad's regime.
We are in direct contact and we are also considering sending people to Syria. We need to see concrete actions, not just positive statements,' he said.
At the same Time, Washington wants to see concrete actions, not just positive statements. Establishing direct communication is important.
It is important to speak as clearly as possible, to listen, to make sure we understand as best we can where they are heading and where they want to go. So in the coming days, we will consider this issue,' he added.
It is worth noting that several Western countries have already sent their delegations to Syria in recent days. The rebel group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' announced plans to create an inclusive government.
Despite this, the U.S. still recognizes this group as a terrorist organization. Sanctions against Syria imposed by the U.S. and other countries during Assad's rule also remain in effect.
