The attack of the Russian drone on the IAEA vehicle will be discussed at an emergency meeting.

The strike by the Russian drone on the IAEA vehicle near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant will be reviewed at an emergency meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors on December 12 in Vienna.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that the attack by the Russian drone on the IAEA mission vehicle is yet another crime and a manifestation of Russia's brutal aggression. As a result of this act by the enemy, the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and other important facilities, which play a critical role in the operation of nuclear power plants and ensuring nuclear safety in Ukraine and Europe, is threatened.
The IAEA is of great importance in assessing the safety level at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and other Ukrainian nuclear facilities. It also plays a vital role in ensuring nuclear safety in Ukraine and Europe. - noted Halushchenko.
He also added: 'The international community must decisively respond to Russia's aggression against the Ukrainian energy system. Ukraine is ready to continue supporting IAEA missions at our facilities and do everything possible to ensure safety by involving the international community and the IAEA, which is the most influential organization on nuclear and radiation safety issues.'
